Can anybody tell me how a company can access my contacts list in messenger. I use AVG, Spybot and Malaware but this did not stop a company from accessing my contacts list and e mailing their advertisement to all my contacts under my name. I know it was from my contacts list as some of the contacts have not been used for years and are no longer current and were returned by the postman. How can I stop this happening again. I have changed my password.

Hi Chrissie. There's a few ways this can happen, and seeing as you've already changed your password you are best setting up a new email account and email everyone your new address and warn them about the problem with the old one.
