Hi, after loading the update for the new Messenger mine doe
sn't work properly. It feels like wading through treacle. I have to wait ages for it to load, ages for it to show mail, ages for it to open my mail, and on top of that some of my replies don't seem to be going, although it says they have gone. I keep getting a message that says "Temporary connectivity problem that has nothing to do with your computer, please try later" but that comes up every day for the last fortnight. Are others having this problem or just me? I am using Vista.

Not heard of a general problem Cantusana. The obvious thing is to uninstall and re-install the latest version. Have you checked for virus and spyware?

Hi, thank you for that. How do I uninstall it? Cen't find it in programmes. Just had some messages from my contacts who say they have received email purportedly from me but from an electronics company in UK. and I had some emails from the Postmaster saying some of my emails were unable to be delivered but I have never sent them. Whats going on?

Sounds like someones got hold of your email address details. The only safe thing to do here cantusana is setup a new email account. I would use gmail instead as it's a lot safer and quicker.
