please can you help I wish to buy a wireless dongle for my laptop I have asked one or two different suppliers if their unit will work at my address which is Playa Flemenca market area but I have been told I will have to buy the dongle @75 Euros first before I can try it, this I find very poor service as I could be stuck with unusable piece of equipment. I would like to know if the dongle use the same radio waves as mobile phones if so does the mean if I get full signal at my address with the same service provider it will work or do the wireless dongle work on different systems.

Generally they do seem to follow the pattern that if you get a good mobile phone signal in you area, with for example Vodafone, then the Vodafone dongle will work OK as it uses the same canopy.
