I want to remove programs that I don´t use any more (eg Norton - I have switched to AVG ), but I can´t as it says I have to be an Administrator. How do I set up an administrator account in Vista?

Hi Ken. Normally an account defaults to admin rights and Vista should prompt you if you need to perform certain tasks with admin status. You can setup a new account from control panel but I would certainly give your PC a good scan for any nasties just in case you have picked something up that's interfering with Vistas security.
