Hi Dave
No it won't disappear, the only thing I can think of is that you didn't hit submit. We were making a few changes to the site yesterday evening, I shouldn't have thought that would have affected anyone posting on the forum - but you know how tricksy computers can be so if you can post the message again, hopefully all will be well.

Dear Jeni
Thanks for your swift response.
The problem I wish to ask Aunti about is as follows.
For a few months now ( since I cleared out a lot of Syware and viruses I think) I havent been able to keep a picture on my desktop. It keeps defaulting to a black screen with the icons OK. I`m not sure exactly what prompts it to default, maybe a time lapse, changing a browser window or using a different program.
I am well protected with Panda AVPro automatic + Spybot,
Adaware,Superantisyware and antimalware.
I have tried setting the colour and desktop display while in safe mode butit still defaults when I start working on anything.
A friend has suggested that something from a virus or malware may have been left behind which does this without showing up as infected. However my technical Knowledge is too limited to pursue this without advice or instruction.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks Dave
