Hi, I hope someone may be able to help me with a problem that I have with 2 trojan horses.They have been picked up by AVG and I cannot get rid of them. I have ran my computer in safe mode and started up AVG but afterwards when I do a scan they are still there. The trojans are SHeur2.BMH and the other is Dropper.Generic ADPE.There is very little info on them from Google.AVG shows that they are in system volume information with a big long number in brackets ! Does anyone know what to do or have I to purchase another software program? Thanks for any help, John.

Have you switched off system restore before you scan?

Hi, My advice would be to download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > www.malwarebytes.org/ This is the most powerful free malware detector and remover around. AVG is also well known for FP's, so give it a go. I'm sure it will remove anything, if it's there.

Thanks for the advice, I tried switching off the system restore before scanning with AVG and it seems to have worked as subsequent scans have failed to show that I have these trojans.However I seem to be having problems with Internet Explorer which frequently fails to connect to various sites including my home site and asking me to send an error report to Microsoft.I also downloaded the recommended software as suggested by Benijofarie on their email. thanks again, John.
